Caddie127: Nobody Should Walk Alone”

The Barbasol Championship’s charitable arm, Caddie127, connects a biblical connotation from James 1:27 “to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Just as Caddies and their players support one another, so will Caddie127 support philanthropic organizations that benefit and empower women and children. Caddie127 has named All God’s Children, Kentucky Children’s Hospital (UK Healthcare), the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Refuge for Women, and the Woodhill Community Center as their 2019 charitable partners.

All God’s Children:

All God’s Children provides care and support to young mothers and their children and families. Through Christ-centered ministries, our non-profit organization offers safe, temporary shelter and programs which address their physical, emotional, education and spiritual needs. By offering sufficient support and life skills, we believe that young women can move beyond challenging circumstances to become loving parents and productive citizens.

Make A Wish Foundation:

Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Our vision is to grant the wish of every eligible child.

Refuge for Women:

Refuge for Women is a non-profit, faith-based organization providing specialized long-term care for women who have escaped human trafficking or sexual exploitation. With multiple locations across the U.S., Refuge for Women offers up to twelve months of safe housing, at no charge to the resident, with around the clock care as clients progress through evidence-based, trauma-informed programming. The compassionate staff is trained to help residents work through the program to reclaim their identities and reach their goals to overcome addictions, heal from trauma and develop life skills leading to healthy, balanced living and financial independence.

University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital:

Kentucky Children’s Hospital – part of University of Kentucky HealthCare — is more than a hospital. It’s a promise to provide the most advanced care for kids across the Commonwealth. Our team of doctors, nurses, therapists, surgeons and specialists are devoted to one thing: getting kids back to being kids again.

Woodhill Community Center (Lexington Leadership Foundation):

Lexington Leadership Foundation connects, unifies and mobilizes leaders to transform Lexington into a city for God. We focus on issues urban youth and families face and seek to increase positive life outcomes and enhance their community.
