THE FIRST
The Barbasol Championship was canceled in April due to the coronavirus and tournament officials immediately began making plans to care for the charitable arm of the Barbasol Championship, Caddie127. Barbasol and Caddie127 have been supportive of five local charities for the past two years that care for and protect women and children in Kentucky. The charities include All God’s Children, Kentucky Children’s Hospital (UK HealthCare), Make-A-Wish – Kentucky, Refuge for Women, and the Woodhill Community Center (Lexington Leadership Foundation).
To that end, the Barbasol Championship will host a Charity Golf Tournament at Champions on October 16 in support of these outstanding organizations.
The tournament will begin at noon and the public is invited to attend the event at Champions Golf Club – 20 Avenue of Champions, Nicholasville, KY 40356.

- Watch four (4) PGA TOUR professionals including Josh Teater, Stephen Stallings, Jr., Chip McDaniel, and Wes Roach.
- Check out the Military Appreciation Hole – Hole #3
- Watch local golfers on the Lexus Hole-in-One Contest – Hole #9
- Signature food dishes from PGA TOUR golf courses from around the U.S. will be available in the Champions Clubhouse, in addition to signature drinks provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- Watch Trevor “Macho Man” Consavage drive balls on Hole #15 – his record drive is 468 yards

CADDIE127 CELEBRATION
The evening before the Charity Golf Tournament, official partners will host a unique reception showcasing TPC signature dishes from around the US for the Taste of the PGA TOUR dinner. Proceeds benefit Caddie127 and its beneficiaries.

What is Caddie127?
The Barbasol Championship’s charitable arm, Caddie127, connects a biblical connotation from James 1:27 “to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” Just as Caddies and their players support one another, so will Caddie127 support philanthropic organizations that benefit and empower women and children. Caddie127 has named All God’s Children, Kentucky Children’s Hospital (UK Healthcare), the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Refuge for Women, the Woodhill Community Center, and First Tee as their 2021 charitable partners.
